Freilach

In spring 2003 our duet was founded in Nuremberg. The duet plays different styles of music. The reason for the foundation of our ensemble was the desire to play jazz, folk and pop music. Our uniqueness is that we avoid using electronic support when playing.

The duet plays at different festivals and concerts, but also for private celebrations such as birthday parties, marriages and so on.

We have produced three CDs:
The first one, "Petite Fleur" (2005), contains entertainment music. The second CD, "Freilach", was recorded in 2006. There is only "Klezmermusik" (Jewish folk music) on this album. And the third disc - "Jazz zu Zweit", which means "Jazz for Two" - its name talks for itself.

In the spring of 2008 our duet became a trio, of which there are now two CD's available. "Déjà-vu" (2008) - entertainment and jazz music, and "Mame-Loshn" (2009) - klezmer music.
